  • I have some Motorola CPUs and FPUs in stock

    Hi All,

I have some Motorola CPUs and FPUs in stock, ready to ship. Details of the CPUs and FPUs I have in stock are listed on my website here: http://www.amigamaniac.com/CPUs_FPUs.html

Hi Nathan. Just a personal request, I'm rather interested replacing my 33mhz FPU with one of your 40mhz ones (PLCC type). Would you do swaps at all?

*EDIT* DOH! I just read that you said it is a PLCC FPU. Should still be OK I think, but I'm not sure about the masks with them.

NINE! Hehe, I don't think it is even necessary my friend. Just overclock that thang, it won't mind, it's only 7Mhz, and good old Moto appear to have used the exact same mask on their 68882 FPUs, simply marking the case with different speeds

I'm getting some more CPUs and FPUs in from my IC supplier. I can't get specific masks, it's just too much hassle for my IC supplier, whom I also consider a friend The price of the CPUs and FPUs are listed on my website and are current: http://www.amigamaniac.com The CPU would be an MC68030RC50C.

If you can get it cheaper from that other guy, then I advise you to buy it from him

Ahhh, that's because there is no button to do that I don't have them in stock yet. When I do, I will probably add buttons and photos like for everything else. However, I will certainly put an FPU aside for you. I usually only order about 5pcs of the CPUs and FPUs as they are expensive. I should have them in soon, I'm just waiting for my IC supplier to track down some 40Mhz PLCC FPUs

Could it be that the 0 (or 7) is actually not part of the mask code but represents something else?

Not sure what it represents and like you I've only seen ones prefixed with a 7
