Shipping dates & shipping policy

Hi guys

Since ive undertaken this warehouse, ive been packing and shipping alot of items, working my arse off. Ive been packing and shipping every night, and thats something I have to stop doing and limit it to 2 days per week so I dont go insane, and so I have time to do my homework

So I have to implement some sort of shipping & packing policy

If I do not have the items here at my house, they are at my storage unit, and I try to only go up there once or twice a week as its a 120 mile drive round trip.

With school starting, Im going to have to limit my shipping days down to 2 days per week. Those days will be tuesdays and fridays. So if you order something on friday, itll go out tuesday, if you order something on tuesday itll go out friday.


On the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month I have my son, so no shipping and packing will take place those days Friday-Monday

Your best bet is to just include a paragraph of terms and conditions each time you create a sales listing, just so that anyone who wishes to declare interest is in full possession of the facts before they buy.

Nobody expects you to drop everything to get an item posted same-day, but our members do expect to know where they stand in this sort of situation.

Of course, hence why I posted this.

Its a ton of work, I never expected this to turn into a full time job. Literally it looks like the UPS store exploded in my living room. Somehow the woman is okay with it :P

Well, indeed, but it's not a lot of use if members don't see this post, particularly once some time has elapsed and it fades into a forgotten memory, hence my suggestion of sticking a clause at the bottom of each listing you create.

You could put the delivery terms into your signature; that way, every post has them in it.....
