    Well I feel dumb. I wasn't turning the trimpots nearly enough to have a noticeable effect. :oops: :Doh: I got it looking great now. Thanks for the help and the great product!

    Sorry I must have removed some important info when I edited the post. The display is a Sony PVM-1943MD, which displays NTSC and PAL (and NTSC 4.43 and SECAM).     When I tried converting my NTSC 250407 board to PAL by simply replacing the crystal (and setting the appropriate jumper) I got a stable picture, but no color. Maybe it has to do with that? I know others have had similar issues with the same board...
