So I found out that Sonix will not allow you play or program it with an external MIDI instrument. You can, however, use Sonix to drive an external keyboard or sound module. Hmmm. oh well, I just have to play Sonix with the Amiga keyboard. I use the A1000 with it's nice stretchy keyboard cord! :)...

I have a copy of Bars and Pipes but I need sounds and I have only 1 external synth to use at the moment. I did find a used book on Amazon called The Key to Aegis Sonix. I have also seen a copy of one called Synthia on eBay but they wanted like $200 for it and that's a bit much for 20 year old...

I really cannot figure out why I was unable to get this to fit even with instructions and the A1000 adapter. Possibly my A1000, being a very early one has different connection points on the daughterboard. I could not insert the adapter with Paula and ECS inserted into the socket on the MB...
