Yes I know that you have to do this on the V2 but mine arrived already sanded, and that is good. I said it because if not people would have asked me to polish it. But it's done already and the vampire fit well on top of the CPU and even without the white plastics parts it will not get loose...

Just received my Vampire II but it's not working. No board inthe early startup or no fast ram detected in the workbench. I have green PWR on and red ACT led on. I tried with and without the little white plastic pieces with no luck either. The board fit tight on the cpu and the socket of the V2...

I don't understand why we need to upload our 3.1 rom images in order to flash the Vampire with, if we still need to have the same rom fitted on the original motherboard...

Hi, I have a question : I have an A600 with a 2.05 rom and cloanto's cd with rom 3.1 Do I need to have the 3.1 really fitted in the A600 for the Vampire2 to work ?
