You're assuming right, the pins are not cut, just solder both flyleads to pin 35-36 (A19-A20) of Gary socket.

Be sure to align the notch of the socket (and Gary chip) the same way as marked on mobo.

In that case, both flyleads go to Gary socket as shown in pics.
