I can't remember the exact model of CRT that was broken in shipping, as I've thrown it out. I don't think the packaging was at fault, it was very well secured in layers and layers of bubble wrap. From now on, I will avoid Hermes at all costs. This thread should be closed as I managed to locate...

As mentioned in the title, I am looking for a CRT (including yoke) that is compatible for the Macintosh SE FDHD. Thanks to Hermes (a delivery company), the machine's original CRT was destroyed in shipping. Europe only. :)

No problem. :) I haven't tested the 5970, yet. I have reapplied the thermal paste on the card, and it is a massive card! Too large for all of my cases. :(
