My 1084S-D1 woks great but it is missing the plastic hood for the power button and wont stay "clicked in". I am aware that is a common problem. I get by with a hack that involves a wing nut however I am paranoid of shocking myself every time I turn it on :)

Powers on, start up doesn't finish, loading light stays on. I am really just looking to fix this to back up my childhood disks. I also have a 1571 that has read issues as well I would be happy to give as part of payment.

Thanks to Screemo I have (most) of a CD32 controller on the way :) if anyone has a broken CD32 controller for parts please let me know. Looks like what I will need for sure is the right bumper button plastic and contact.
