For Sale TF536: 030+64 MB+IDE internal expansion for the A500

How about putting a riser underneath the rgb2hdmi pcb? Would that not give the HDMI port sufficient clearance? I guess if you are using it inside an A500 chassis, then you don't have much clearance in the height but is it really that tight? It would probably be a problem in my Checkmate...

For Sale TF536: 030+64 MB+IDE internal expansion for the A500

Just in cased anyone else have stability issues like I did, then replacing the CPU socket and recapping the motherboard (might as well) seemed to do the trick for me as it has been running for several hours today without problems. :) These old sockets are not as good as they used to be (and they...

For Sale TF536: 030+64 MB+IDE internal expansion for the A500

Thanks for the offer but unfortunately shipping would be a killer, not to mention trouble with customs. You might be right that the culprit could be the CPU socket. I have it installed in a turned pin socket (as a riser) to clear the components on the MB, but the socket in the motherboard is...

For Sale TF536: 030+64 MB+IDE internal expansion for the A500

I cannot seem to get my card 100% stable. It crashes randomly but it doesn't seem to be related to heat as it still crashes at the same rate (every 15~30 mins) with the cabinet open and a fan blowing air across the board. So I wonder of clocking it down a bit would help, like to 40 MHz, seeing...

I have good results just using oxy additives with luke warm water to treat keycaps for example. No need for hydrogenperoxide, or sunlight for that matter. Usually I soak it 2-12 hours depending on the condition. Peroxide might also work fine on its own but it is a lot more expensive. :)

30% solution should be handled with extreme care. Handle it like you would concentrated acid. A drop in the eye could make you blind on it and mixed with the wrong items it could react explosively. And I don't see why you would use warm water - cold water is safer to handle and will not make...

    VIC 1010 Advice needed :

Just remove any dirt and dust and maybe clean the edge connector with isopropanol but besides that I would leave it intact. As the other poster writes, retrobright is quite controversial and it is a one-way street. Once it has been treated you can never undo it again and it will turn many people...

AmiBay is thirteen years old now... officially a teenager...

I guess this would be time for Amibay to get his/hers first personal Amiga? Myself, I got my A500+ at 12 years old so 13 years is due time for this to happen before it has to fight for time against mopeds and parties. :)

So much for the Amiga community spirit

Was it actually one of the official TF boards? There are people out there selling copies. Also, I'm surprised they can block you from opening a dispute as long as you react in due time.

For Sale TF536: 030+64 MB+IDE internal expansion for the A500

Are you sure about this one? I did manage to find one of the adapters that you specify and I also had one of those 8GB blue and white cards from ebay. It is also only about 3.3MB/s. There is a common problem with SysInfo that it tends to report 6,553,500 bytes/s or 3,276,700 bytes/s for fast...
