GREAT NEWS!
everything works perfectly on a1200 with WHLOAD and CF card. i attached few photos. However, it won't work on a2000 with gotek. could be i need buffered connector but never the less, i prefer a1200. for a2000 i can use CRT :). won't bother myself with this problem.
no change, it's the same - won't start. i read some time ago that somehow amiga with such adapter expecting a genlock device connected and since there is no response it won't start... :(
Model is LCD NEC multisync 1970nxp . i have several amigas, i just tested it on my a2000 with gotek adf usb adapter. however if adapter is plugged in, amiga won't boot at all and the screen remains in sleep mode. but if i start amiga, wait 10 sec than plug adapter, it works ok. i run the last...
adapter arrived! good thing is it works perfectly with NEC 19 nx :D !!! i just have one problem, Amiga won't boot if monitor is plugged in (i use gotek adf) did i miss some advise regarding normal boot??? is there a solution for it?
ADDITION:
in service manual http://personalpages.tds.net/~rcarlsen/cbm/monitors/1084s-p1/Commodore%201084S-P1%20Service%20Manual.pdf , on page 9 it's shown as HORIZONTAL TRANSFORMER.
appreciate your help!
don't think so. nothing except blue screen appears... also donno kickstart version :( . i have another, working, amiga 2000 with 1.3 ks but this one is unknown...
Hi again... during re-seating chips, and trying to boot, amiga several times turned screen in green, blue, once it was even purple! :) . now, after i re-seated all chips - amiga constantly turns screen into blue... donno what 2 do...
thanks mate. i have already seen those blink errors, and as you suggested it could be due to chips... i'll try to re-seat them, and post (hope positive) result here...
hello,
recently i turned on my a2000 and the screen is stuck at blue color. also caps lock blinks only once (the keyboard works ok - tested on another amiga).
does anyone has any experience with such failure and is it worth repairing?
thanks!
