Well the gotek does works, is the one I use with my amiga 500. About the game being DOS I really don't know (sorry I'm a total noob when it comes to the amiga), but I can tell you that the game I was trying to copy is Simon the sorcerer (AGA version).

I'm interested on point and click adventures and I found the constant floppy change unbeareable. So I was thinking about installing the games onto my amiga 1200 harddrive from a gotek drive conected trough an external adaptor, but whenever I load the adf file I get a ???? name on the floppy...
The pc engine is an awesome console, if you get one do yourself a favor and get the cd based Duo-R (the regular pcengine duo has a serious problem of leaky capacitors and you will have to recap it sooner than later). Also there is no copy protection on the cds, so you can test drive the games...
