Grumpy is the new black. :D
Just wanted to chime in and say THANK YOU, Stephen, for your hard work. I purchased a TF536 from @alenppc and it completely transformed my A2000 to being fun and interesting again (and I can play Dune II at a decent speed).
After having tried the 3.1.4 ROM with the TF-536 in my rev 4.4 Amiga 2000-CR I can report that it works... sort of. It doesn't see the IDE controller so there is no way of booting from it with the 3.1.4 ROM installed. I think I heard Stephen talk about him having potential issues with 3.1.4...
I've had mine for a week or so now and am super happy. But I want to hook up a 40 pin DOM to it so I got an adapter from 44 to 40 pins and when that's connected, the power light starts to blink and the computer just keeps rebooting. Remove it and everything works fine. Any advice on what...
Can't remember where. It was a couple of years since I got it. A model sort of like mine is available here: https://amigastore.eu/742-a2000-cpu-relocator-board-adapter.html and here: https://store.osvg.net/index.php/product/a2000copro-kit/
I think it was designed for the Vampire back in the day.
So I thought I would chime in about the A2000 working or not working with the TF-536. Mine works perfectly. Some photos attached.
I have also upgraded my A2000 to 1MB chipmem (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1x3_BoTwg4) by upgrading the 8371 to 8372A and the TF-536 works fine.
Update: I have to withdraw this ad for now. My son ripped the computer from a desk and it fell on the floor and it is not working at the moment. I may re-list it if I can get the thing working again. Sorry all and thanks for your shown interest.
