Thanks all. I had heard of Amibay many times on various Amiga forums but never joined thinking it was just for selling/buying stuff and I was fine with Ebay at that time. But I guess it's more than just buying/selling. And ebay with its new biased feedback policy and shipping fees in the past...

Okay, but my main interest is retrogaming. This was just an anamoly (I hope) on ebay that had to be let out since normally you don't see sellers scamming buyers but that's what just took place. It's just for the precaution of innocent buyers that this had to be mentioned.
