Ok so what happened here... I tried all sorts of combinations of CF-card readers, CF:s, IDE-harddisks, SATA-harddisks via IDE-adapter, different roms, different filesystems, prepping CF:s/HDD:s on the hardware instead of WinUAE, small partitions, placing oktagon-scsi.drivers into the RDB etc...

It finally works 100%! :D Solving the issue with the IDE was something I never could've imagined, but I nailed it finally after spending three weeks of my summer holiday banging my head with this :D furious modding with the A1000 case is going on now, but I will post a report about this later.
