Same here... I've asked one of my students, who is proficient in KiCAD (unlike me). He has managed to generate the gerbers, but the pick&place csv is giving him an error when uploaded to JLCPCB. LCSC partnumbers are required it seems.
Soldering the RPROM by hand is no fun... If someone can spoonfeed me with the necessary info (gerber.zip, bom.csv) to have the board assembled by JLCPCB, I might order a batch of 5.
I have no experience with the Kickstart Eliminator, but I do remember most of the instructions in the PDF from when I removed the daughterboard of my own A1000 back in the late 80s. I followed an article in a magazine that I can't find anymore. The difference between "my" hack and the Kickstart...
I'd keep an eye on this thread and hope they become available again. Or build one yourself. They are really not that difficult to solder and besides it will save you a lot of bucks, as a Rejuv is only about $70 worth of components. I've built two rejuvs in the past and they both worked first...
