let's see. I designed the keycaps a while back and ran a group buy a couple of months ago to make approximately 300 commodore64-like sets. The keys were manufactured in US and distributed thanks to a proxy over there. The keyboard is custom made, the case is CNC'd and made out of aluminum in China.

you definitely need to find a better manufacturer for the keycaps. In China a full set goes around $40... please contact me if you need help with that.
