Also, despite how it looks, it does have a stand, its just has a smaller footprint than the CRT, so it is hard to see. Furthermore, on the right side (if you're facing the monitor), which is the side you would likely see, there are no vent holes, just as you specified.

The SLC3 upgrade mentioned earlier in this thread could be of tremendous research value, but it seems that this individual is no longer among us, unfortunately.
Can anyone tell me what the BBCPUCLK software does exactly that stops the crashing? I'm running into this with another system, and I'm wondering if whatever this does might work for what I am running into as well. The issue I'm running into is apparently some kind of strange BIOS limitation.
