    Ok. The PSU on its own also doesn't start. I checked the 5V, 12V and -12V to GND and no shorts were detected. I'm waiting on a new triple output power supply to arrive to do further testing. Interestingly the PSU fan now spins for a few seconds and the voltages go up a bit but the PSU shuts...

    Hi, Thanks for replying. I will try your suggestion. It could be a short circuit and the PSU's protection kicks in and it doesn't power up. I haven't looked at the battery. Maybe it's leaking and doing a number on the motherboard. I'll let you know what I'll uncover. Regarding the XTA drive...

    Hi, I have a broken Euro XT. Doesn't power up. No lights, nothing. I think that it's PSU -- interestingly the PSU's fan blades move a tiny little bit as if trying to start spinning, but that never happens. It could also be the mainboard but as these PSU don't have a "power good" return signal...
