The proper +2a is very rare, and uses the same main board as the +3 (FLoppy controller chips are unpopulated) with the same error in the sound circuit that makes the sound muddy. You can fix it, but due to the rarity of the +2a you would not.

I have a Steg the Slug, I need to check it actually loads but is physically in near mint condition (the back inlay has been damaged very slightly by the tape box pegs, and is a little "wavy" as a result). Would be interested in swapping for a Grell and Fella.

Mostly torture them with a soldering iron... But seriously recently I've added stereo to a spectrum 128k and hooked it up to a commodore 1084s-d2 monitor.
