It indicates that it is an intricate reset timing issue. Seems that reset is called during initialization.
I tried Ian Stedman's reset fix. I might try the Gayle fix from amiga...

I've just tried a Xircom Modem/Ethernet card and it locks the A1200 as well.
My Sandisk PCMCIA-CF Card works perfectly though, with the CF Cards auto-mounting to the desktop and file...
When I first updated to 3.9, I had an Apollo 1220 (4mb) and WPA2 worked fine. But I was left with around 100kb of RAM, and so purchased the ACA1220.

Tried 'ModemTest' from aminet (driver author's advice) and it locked up the machine as well!
Looks like it's somewhere deep.
I wonder if it's my Cloanto 3.X KS ROM.

Sir_Lucas, I've tried all combinations of using CardReset, CardPatch and also acatune's resetpcmcia, slowpcmcia and slowpcmciamem.

I pretty much have the exact same A1200 setup (same accelerator) and my PCMCIA card is also locking up the system.
It gets to the point where a hard reset with the card in the slot wont let the system start.
Did you ever sort this issue out?
