Well i have found a way around the WHDload problem, i copyed the whole floppy disk (cracked version) to the harddrive and checked which files were loaded in the startup-sequence, after trail and error all i did was load the file "skylock2" then "main.mod" and the game runs without crashing, and...

Thanks guys, mjnurney - I didn't know that about the kickstart ROM's cheers!! that would explain why my 2.05 kickstart ROM works fine in my REV. 6A board. bdb - Thats i good idea :) never though fixing bad RAM chip that way.

Thanks "CrashMidnick" and "Orcish75" Im using the VXL-30 in a REV. 5 motherboard, i will take a good look and make sure the board is seating properly. There has been a repair to one of the Pins/legs of the VXL-30 and the pin is a little shorter than the rest, maybe this is the problem ?

Thought i would update a few posts, my DKB 1202 is now giving me 8mb's of ram (no jumpers). The problem was one of the ram sticks wasn't seating properly due to one of the plastic wings not holding the RAM in place:Doh:
