    Mystery SCSI Card in A2000

It is very likely that it does not work with A3000. Z2 DMA can't support memory outside of 24-bit address space (A3000 fast RAM) and because board/ROM is so very old, it most likely does not know how to work around it (by using PIO mode). btw, I am still waiting for ROM dump :) (Dump would also...

    Best A1000 Accelerator card?

I had to reply because this is very common, sometimes accidental (like yours), sometimes just repeating something that someone else (incorrectly) said on the internet or some magazine or something.. If I remember correctly, I read about A1000's expansion port being "upside down" practically...

    Best A1000 Accelerator card?

Do not insert anything upside down in A1000 expansion slot! It will permanently damage the expansion board if system is powered up. Correct setup is back to front, not upside down. This is yet another popular Amiga myth but probably also the most dangerous.

    Mystery SCSI Card in A2000

Does WB 2.0+ disk tools/showconfig or sysinfo expansion list show the Supradrive card?. It should have autoconfig ID 1056/3 (decimal) or 0420/03 (hex).

    Golem SCSI+IDE Setup

Tested in emulation: fastscsi.device 4.2 ("fastscsi.device (fastscsi device (romversion) V4.2 (06-FEB-95)") uses unit 8 for IDE master. 0-7 are for SCSI. I don't have v4.0 (which most likely works identically, unit number change would have been too confusing), it is located at $e90000 to...

    Mystery SCSI Card in A2000

http://www.l8r.net/install/hard_drive_cont/supraboot.dms includes Supradrive 2000 compatible disk based driver (which was used for emulation testing). Autoconfig ID should be 0x0420/0x03 (1056/3). And slight correction: Officially it is called "SupraDrive 2000" and later non-DMA one is called...

    Mystery SCSI Card in A2000

Wow. It is very rare SupraDrive 2000 DMA. Supra's attempt to create DMA HD controller but apparently it wasn't that good. All later models were PIO. It is not same as "plain" SupraDrive 2000. Could you dump the boot ROM? It can be done using software if you don't have ROM reader, no HD needed...

Closed Masoboshi Master Card IDE + SCSI Controller, DMA capable, ZII

Could you also check rom version? "version MASOBOSHI.device" in CLI (case sensitive!). I am still trying to find mythical final and fixed v2.204 that no one seems to have.

Unindentified memory expansion with IDE controller for the amiga 1200

I don't think idefix would work. Did Idefix exists in late 1993? Also, idefix adds ide doubler support to existing port but this board adds two new ports. Unless it overrides internal port? Which is possibility because it does not use autoconfig so IDE ports probably are located somewhere near...

Unindentified memory expansion with IDE controller for the amiga 1200

Autoconfig is only for RAM board. So those bigger socketed chips probably are CPLD's, not ROMs and IDE isn't bootable. There is also socket for clock chip (clock chip not included but mostly useless 2 IDE ports are included?) What does it say next to the rightmost IDE port? 1321something? I...

Unindentified memory expansion with IDE controller for the amiga 1200

I have no idea but it feels strange to have non-CPU IDE expansion for Amiga 1200 that already has built-in IDE.. Autoboot ROM dump would be really interesting (can be done using software), but first, could you include WB 3.1 "tools/showconfig debug" output?

Green screen when turning on 500

Yes and no.. Colors are technically 100% correct but actual reason is usually interpreted far too literally. For example green screen (bad chip ram) means "writing and then reading from chip ram didn't return same data", it does not necessarily mean chip ram itself is broken. (RAM chips...

Green screen when turning on 500

If it is very quick flash immediately after power up (and only after power up), it is normal and caused by color palette (inside Denise) contents being partially random before KS boot code resets it after short delay. I have seen full white, full black and full red and it can depend on Denise...
