I have not checked the Piccolo64 driver yet, only the Spectrum one. The kludge would be needed for every card separate because it is needed to disable the interrupts of the cards.
Do you have the mentioned problems with WHDLoad?
Do older P96 driver work? (I need an older driver which works to be...
I have checked the Spectrum driver of P96. Maybe a kludge could be added to WHDLoad to avoid the problems. But since the 1.35 driver works it's probably not worth the effort.
Until now only Spectrum card has been reported to have Problems with WHDLoad under P96.
Version 1.32 of Picasso96 can be found on Aminet CD #23. For Version 1.35 I have no source. Aminet #24 contains 1.36.
theoretically yes, but we would need how to fix it and then all slaves would be need to reassembled and it wouldn't fix the non kickemu games.
the only proper solution would be to change the spectrum/picasso driver to disable the int
the change in whdload only reduces latency, I doubt that it will change anything regarding the spectrum problem because the problem here is very probably that the ints by card get not acknowledged
So it seems the newer Picasso96 software creates an interrupt for the Spectrum card which requires acknowledge and will therefore not work with WHDLoad games which use this interrupt (e.g. kickemu games).
According to the changelog the interrupt has been added in release 1.36:
There is...
did this remove also the interrupt?
Could also possible be the problem. I don't now how to get off the Spectrum Int. Maybe only by deactivating the Picasso Driver for this Card. Please try this and check using Scout if the Int disappears.
