Prometheus with Proto-ROM

Hello,

i have for sale a nice Prometheus PCI card (complet with the original box and all the parts, but without the CD, sorry!): i ask 80 € plu ship to EU.
This card is unique: have a more modern ROM inside, that the others dont have (but need programmer for new drivers), have jumpers for the new function that the others dont have, etc..
Lack only the new driver, that make possible the usage of the new function (like usage a very cheap PCI USB card 1.1): the old driver work without problem. On my Amiga 4000T with CSPPC, this card was perfect with the voodoo 3 3000 and Amiga OS4.
I dont need this card why i dont have Amiga with zorro 3 bus.
The new ROM is the result of a rework of a important german productor.

I'm interested in this , is the driver all that is needed to make this card work?

Will the old driver make this card work too? And can I find it somewhere?

I've got a Prometheus PCI board, I can probably give you an ISO image of the driver software if you get one without a CD. :-)

@Verona: Do you have more information about this new ROM revision? I'm interested in maybe doing that to my own Prometheus card.

Yes, my A4000 is a towerised one. That said, with some creative engineering, you should be able to ram a Prometheus into a desktop case, you'll want some PCI extenders though.

Hi,

the old driver work great: i have OS4 with this card and a voodoo 3 3000.
I think that you can upload them on the internet, on the old site of matay.pl.
About the new driver i can send you the infos for the contac with the boy that can this type of work (in Germany).

I know that a boy in Germany can new driver for this card, and this card, with the new driver can theoretic a PCI USB 1.1.

Yes, that is and a voodoo 3 3000 can be fitted without problems (with a pci extender cable).
