I might be interested in two 68EC020 boards, but I had a few questions: - What would be the easiest way to hook up a 44pin female DOM to this connector? - Do these have any history of crashing when using particular KS/WB revisions/combos? (I had a bad run with TF530 crashing a stock system, and now the Amiga dealer says they work fine. I'm just trying to cover my bases!) - If I find these don't play well with my machines, am I allowed to resell back on this forum?

there was an interesting bug on early firmware - card was running fine, though crashed as soon as You started Sysinfo. This was caused by crap Sysinfo design - it ignores No FPU flag and tries to detect it - this results to system crash, this was reported to Matthias, and new firmware was released with this issue fixed.Quote:

As about Kickstarts: 68EC020 TK has own boot rom (Oktagon/Oktapussy), this means all Kickstarts are supported, even Kickstart 1.2 is able to boot, however You need to understand wich file system You need to use, Kickstart 1.2 for example uses Old File System!

I received my TF534 and, after DJCook explained that the 68000 CPU has to be removed, my A2000 works fine with it.
Because my System is known to be a little incompatible with the TF534, DjCook asked me to write down my Setup in this Thread.
I have a rev 6 Board with a Buddha IDE controller 20th anniversary Edition (newest Firmware) with a boot CF and an additional CF, an Oktagon 2008 with 8Mb on it (used only as mem extension) and a 2Mb Chip Mem Extension.
My A2000 boots without Problems from my Buddha Controller and all works pretty fine with the TF534 installed.
If I forgot something, please let me know.

The most interesting part is that TF534 works with Buddha, can't test it cause i don't have one, yet some users reported it isn't working..
im curious how fast it is? using MMULibs (muFASTROM) TF534's IDE able to give You 3,4MB/s
Hi, How did you managed to have this miracle? I got an A2000 6.2 with GVP 8MB kickstart 3.1.4 and the Buddha ide 20th anniversary doesn't work properly and I can use only one port (that behave badly).Quote:

Madk71, wich firmware version You are on? are both CF cards bootable or maybe these have similar names/disks like DH0? This may cause errors..
Hi DjCook, the firmware of the Buddha is the last one, but I have tried even with the previous one. I tested, after cf2ide 44 and 40 pin, a real hdd ide in master mode and 40 pin cable.Quote:

Some time it can boot from the dom but again no stability at all. The CF or the hdd was partitioned as BDH0 and BDH1, I have tried disabling the boot of the gvp and pulling out the sd2ide from the tf534, so nothing other than the buddha HDD for the boot . Nothing change. If I use the buddha without The TF534 (only 68k) it work just fine reaching a speed around 1.1MB/s that I suppose will be better using a 68030. I done a lot of tests but if you want me to do others, I will be happy to follow all your instructions and reports the results to you.

i have two Ide 40pin to CF Adaptors (Those, with the Slot sheet to mount at the back of the Amiga). One 4GB CF Card is partitioned with one Bootable (50MB) and one Work Partition. Second CF is only one Patiotion and not bootable. Both CF Adaptors are jumpered as Master and connected to one IDE Channel of the Buddha. When I installed the Buddha, i had some issues with the Quality of the IDE Cables, have you tried different ones?

Have been out of the Amiga scene for a while tripping around, after reading through this forum, and the EXXOS forum I have a couple of questions.
The TF534 looks like an interesting addition to my A500+. Do you have any intentions at this stage to do another run of this card in the future?

If the TF536 gets through the beta testing, is there any possibility that you may produce a few of these cards?
