Hello.
I have the Amiga 500. Mainboard 6A. 2MB elbox memory. Double kickstart 1.3 and 3.1. Do I need a relocator and what final price with cf card and shipping to Poland?
Regards.
Hi,
I am interested in a A2000 set.

Hi, interest in an A500 set. Sending PM
Declaring interest in 1 TF534i + relocator set with CF card adapter and preinstalled CF Card.
TF534 was marked as obsolete by Terrible Fire,
This means no firmware updates will be released, that's why i decided not to build them anymore
TF536 will be announced soon hopefully
Till that happens please wait or declare interest in 68EC020 TK
Another update! I found the A2091 works fine (regards RAM - not tested SCSI yet) with the TF534. It only provides an additional 2MB of ZII RAM but it does work fine! I did find I had to re-install the resistor pack that some of the guides tell you to remove on rev 6.2 boards though.
Received mine yesterday; well packaged.
Initial install seems to work, Amiga Test Kit is happy with it. Some sw compatibility issues with my messy system install; need to install a clean system to properly test (which I was going to do anyway).
Withdrawing interest - no reply on PM.
Interested in Amiga 2000 set . Sending PM.
Package received. Top-notch soldering job . Thanks. Card tested and works fine :) Will give Positive feedback shortly.
Interested in AMIGA 2000 set. Sending PM..
Possibly interested in Amiga 2000 set also. PM Sent
Guys, just so you know... he said some time ago he's not making them now until the next model is released (TF536).
Thanks, I didnt realise - the post was not closed so i thought it was still available.
Looking on the TF forum, it looks like the TF536 is on hold until sometime next year?
Thread is still open as we need a place to discuss about setup/problems/etc..
Can't say anything about release date of the TF536,
Switched to 68EC020TK accelerators for now
Almost forgot: Feedback left :)
Interested in TF534i + Amiga 1000 relocator set. PM sent.
Hi!
Did you get the TF534 and ZZ9000 working nicely together? I have an A1500 Rev 6 Motherboard and am planning to buy a ZZ9000 and am currently trying to decide on which accelerator to use.
Thanks!
Regards
Chris
I'd like to know that too.
Regards
Not yet. Lukas' Amiga is damaged. He's having it repaired. Once the Amiga is functional, he'll diagnose the issue and update the driver.
I just want to mention it's a big plus the TF534's memory is mapped as Zorro 3 ram. This allows the A2000 to max out at 12Mb, 8 mb with the ZZ9000 (it needs 4 mb of address space).
And each ZZ screen mode sucks a lot of ram too.
I can't wait until Stephen releases his new accelerators. He's upping the RAM. The '60 card looks like the one to get.
I'm sure the TF536 will sell well too.
Hi, I hope this time Stephen would like to support the A2000 officially.
To make a 100% reliably working accelerator card for such Amiga like A2000 - You need that this accelerator supports DMA, because many additional A2k hardware is using this feature...
There will be issues on expanded system till DMA isn't implemented. That's the reason why i switched to Matzes accelerators.
I hope so. I will be happy if he can fix the 68030 64MB. If he will create someting like 040 or 060 it will be AMAZING. But I suppose Matze is currently very busy:-(.
Last update ive seen from Matthias - is an open source fpga based accelerator.
I thought he had thrown the towel in - at least this is what his posts now say - https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/forum/vi...=2275&start=40
Has something changed since mid November?
It is sad, but I am not surprised.
Hope Stephen does come back to his great Amiga projects, really was and still am hoping for a TF360.
Always someone out there that ruins it for the rest of us
I was asked by a user for info on how to install a ram68k to the Amiga 2000.
It's pretty straight forward.
Attached are some pics from my Amiga. The purple wire is twisted together to the yellow wire - yeah, amateur job.
The red and black wire is hd access. I'm currently not using it. Yeah, I'm lazy.
Attachment 152379Attachment 152380
Oh! If these wires are OVR & INT2 - you have a header on the relocator so You can attach dupont wires there
There is a fellow in Canada who has a TF1260 up and running (as well as a Chucky on EAB, perhaps others).
Appears the TF1260 is slated for release sometime soon.
This should be a beauty. 128Mb on board RAM with an '060.
Yes, Alen and Supaduper have prototypes already,
There will be also a limited batch of 10x TF536 cards soon.
Will update my TF Thread soon, as i did a lot of tests with TF536 already
Hi, will the TF536 be DMA friendly in an A2000? so that it does not interfere with the other slots.
Nope, i don't think so..
TF536 is rather an A500 than A2000 card,
have tested it with Picasso II RTG graphic card and it worked perfectly, however, people will start to add different things like SCSI and other RAM cards etc and this will cause errors
Dont know if this is the right thread...
But Im looking for a DIY Kit for a cheap accelerator for A2000.
Fastram and IDE is my only demands..
Just for your information, I have an Amiga 2000 with a TF534 and I have :
A2091 SCSI card with 2MB fastmem on board, and CDROM - Works perfect
BSC Multiface III card (additional parallel and serial ports) - Works perfect
Amber card flicker fixer - Works perfect
Thank you. useful to know.
Tried to PM you Dj, your box is full ;)
I am in Canada, I have an A500 - pretty much stock. Also have an A2000 most likely (from a friend)
I would like to have a machine that can WHDload, also I am a hardware guy - I like mods and repairs etc.. so I am THINKING the A2000 would be better..
I have been an Atari guy all my life, and am dipping into the Amiga world.
I have no HDD for Amiga, no additions or mods of any kinds.. and those would be a real possibility.
I see you have sold/made many different boards etc.. which would you suggest I look into? TF and Matze seem good. also there is the Classic 520 (but thats external)
Suggestions?
James
Yeah,
mail box is pretty small here, unfortunately
have cleaned up a bit
well,
if You are looking just for WHDLoad + FastRAM - i would recommend You this:
http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...d-CDTV-RAM-IDE
this is 8MB FastRAM & IDE card, that allows You to use any Kickstart (1.2 till 3.1.4) has proper disable function, offers IDE and adds 8MB of FastRAM
If You have plans to expand Your system with graphic card:
http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...hias-Heinrichs
- You'll need at least 020 accelerator. This would be the low-end card that works perfect in pair with RTG:
http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...rator-by-Matze
PS
all cards i've mentioned here have passed test phase and are working reliably
Hi, I know about the TF534, what I don't know is about the TF536.
I am very happy that your 2091 work perfect, my gvp series II is great, but not perfect. I can use all the 8mb, but because the DMA issue with the TF534, I lost 1,1MB/s of transfer rate.
I don't remember if the A2091 is DMA or not, but if your works great and do more that 1,2MB/s, I will buy one soon.
Expressing interest in two units of still available.
