Preorder: New Amiga 4000T (Tower) complete PCB sets

I'm pleased to announce the reproduction of Amiga 4000 T PCBs. The design is complete and in production right now. Expected to start shipping in about 3 weeks, after production and prototyping of the boards.

These are 6 layer boards identical in functionality to the A4000T Rev 4 motherboard PCBs. I will provide full BOM for the buyers in Excel sheet with component values and locations. But please understand that this sale is for the PCB set and component list, I will not provide support for building.

ALL SOLD

The boards will be sold as sets, one set includes 1 of each: motherboard, video module, disk module and port module PCBs.
Price per PCB set will be: $145 (130€)plus shipping + PP fees (4.5%) or bank transfer (no fees). PP payment will be goods payment in USD or EUR, and will only ship to your registered PP address. (shipping registered will be: $19 (17€) anywhere in the world). If you can, please choose bank transfer, it helps as it's easier for me to buy parts than with PayPal funds. For orders of more than 1 board, I will only accept bank transfers (IBAN or wire transfer in EU:EUR, USA:USD or GB:GBP to an account local to you).

Test board custom chips, connectors etc. for minimum booting complete, have sync on display! Waiting for some missing parts to be delivered on Monday, if all goes well testing will be finished next week.

Test board has video frame out! (video module and video circuit on the motherboard working) Still missing some parts, due tomorrow, after which some more testing needs to be done, still hoping to finish testing this week.

Update 17/11
Some progress today on the test board, all custom chips are now installed, couldn't finish due to "real life" engagement, so still have to work on it some more next week.

Update 21/11
Unfortunately I ran into an unknown build error, some more days are needed to solve it. Please bare with me.

Test board has picture and sound out, mouse works and Chip/Fast RAM tests pass. Getting close guys.

24/11
Testing complete, everything is working. Tested all functionality, RTC, KB, mouse, ports, Zorro, video and PC slots as well. SCSI was only tested with an internal drive copying between CF IDE and a SCSI HDD for hours. Will work on the BOM and a few build tips. Will start sending out payment requests probably tomorrow. Payment deadline (from request) has been extended to 3 days.

The PCBs have been designed by a professional PCB design firm and I own this particular design. The original authors are C= engineers of course :)

You are not going to open this like the one I was working on? Great work, just sad to see it closed off with all the work being done to bring boards to everyone in the open communities. Plans to do so after the investment is paid back maybe? In any case I am interested in one set.

Maybe, but likely not. Others already are working in the A3000 space..

What happens to all the orders should they have a fundamental flaw?
Or will you first confirm them to work and the deal be void otherwise?

This is a PREORDER thread. I will only start the order process, and start collecting payment once I've built a full motherboard and confirmed the design.

Since you have declared interest before the change, you are still welcome to choose payment method.

Others with one PCB order: can still choose payment method as it fits you best, but please pay by bank transfer if you can. This has less fees for you, and also I'll need some of the funds to buy electronic parts for my projects, and big electronics suppliers don't accept PayPal - this is the reason for the change.
