FAULTY A500+ motherboard

Hi all

I have for sale a faulty A500+ motherboard. As can be seen in the pics, it has died of a battery leak. I tried to clean it up and also removed the Gary chip with a view to putting a new socket on but alas it is beyond my technical capabilities :(

I have not idea if the remaining chips on the board work although they likely do. I will include the original Gary chip and also the shielding as I have no need for them.

I am asking £15 inc P&P.

As it happens, Steves A1000 is the first ever real A1000 I saw at the Enfield Amiga revivial :D

IIRC, there is a guy on EAB looking for the video hybrid to fix his A500. If you can desolder the bugger I'll do a call to him.

My soldering skills arent very good so Id have to decline :) Also, Id rather just sell the board whole than in parts but thank you anyway.

Hiyas guys - just an FYI - the fat agnus from the A500+ is incompatible with all other Agnii versions.

While the 2MB 8372AB and 8372B are compatible and I am pretty sure an 8375 - 318069-xx series would also be compatible - but the 8375 - 3190544 is pin incompatible I am afraid to say.

Pitty you dont live closer Taj, I am sure together we could of brought this wee-beastie back from the dead.

Pity indeed Big Z :( I have 2 A500+'s anyway but woulda been good to have 3! (it was my first Amiga :) )
