My partner wants me to buy her the original MK1 Sega Master System console... It must be in excellent condition/working order and MUST have Alex the Kidd game built-in (just like her childhood console - nostalgia bug :)).
I'm willing to pay a reasonable price depending on what comes with it.

I'm pretty sure the MK2 was the one with the Alex Kidd Game built in (well at least mine was) the MK1 had some worm game :dry:

The Mk1 (longer and squarer unit) had Hang on and Safari Hunt built in.
The Mk2 (smaller and rounder) has Alex Kid in Miracle World but I think some have Sonic the Hedgehog built in.
There was versions of both. The MK1 had hang on built in but a later model was released with Alex the Kidd. I used to be a hard core master system collector, with some really sweet stuff. Sadly I was forced into selling the collection a few years back, I really wished I kept some of it, I had a prototype/sample of Alex the Kidd the Lost Stars amongst many other prototype/sample carts. I had some real gems :(

I have mine that i'm willing to give. Comes with original PSU and one controller and Alex Kidd built in. But it's not in MINT condition. It isn't broken or damaged but you can't call it mint.Quote:

There was a sweet deal on here the other day, it was a mk1 and mk2 model with a pile of games - It also had the very rare hand controller (like a steering wheel).
