I see your terminator is the best one: a passthrough unit. Hook it directly to the controller and the SCSI cable to it. Put the HD on the nearest connector and remove the passive termination packs.

The passive termination packs seems to be soldered. If I have to desolder the I went to the end to the game as I have not the skills to do that.Quote:

Maybe the better way is to search another HD, SCSI or SCSI2, making sure it is fully compatible with the module :(
You can use older HD with passive terminators, but they usually are less-than-1Gb units.
Good luck finding a working unit at a decent price!

Now the only way is to try with another HD
Catch an unit with the termination power jumper present (ask the seller for the model code and check on the internet prior to buy).
You can also keep this drive and use it in conjunction with another unit.
