As title, require a SCSI add-on board, with cable and all, for my 1230 mk IV. Have decided that due to heat issues my internal IDE cd drive needs to come out of my 1200, the indivision AGA is cooking the thing! So external SCSI drive seems best bet.
Also need an external SCSI cd drive!

To clarify, Laudrup has offered me a SCSI kit for 80 Euro plus 10 Euro shipping. I was hoping for a little cheaper so thank him for the offer but will hold out a little to see if anyone else steps up (and am also awaiting confirmation of stock level from Amigakit on the SCSI board too).
Kin, still awaiting those pics brother! I'll be looking to share the CD drive between my 1200 and my Mac Performa 460. Does it need software to get it running or is it plug and play? I'm in the dark with SCSI devices unfortunately...

Thank's for clarifying the Laudrup affair. Perhaps he can now see why it is important to state on a thread your interest. Multiple Item threads can be chaos in a matter of two or three posts.
Purely plug & play according to the SCSI Rule book, but not M$ Plug & Play as in USB. ;) :D
There should be no issue using this on any platform fitted with a suitable SCSI Card. The connections on the back are 50 way HD type. You may be responsible for your own cable connection as I appear to no longer have a 25 way (Blizzard SCSI) to the 50 way HD type. AndyLandy might be able to help you. ;)
The device has had little use itself & is 100% functional with no visible marks to it's housing. You also have full SCSI control via DIP's & even a SCSI id Selector all on the back of this case. It's a quality SCSI device m8 & should give you around 2.5Mb/Sec transfer from your Blizzard.
