Amiga Technologies A1200 with Blizzard 1230 and HDD

Due to lack of space I've not used my Amiga setup much over the last few years so am putting it up for sale. I'll be very sorry to see it go, having owned it for the last 7 years.

It's a completely original un-yellowed Amiga Technologies A1200 with no case modifications. As you would expect it has Kickstart 3.1 ROMS. I've fitted a 6GB 2.5" drive internally and added the top notch Blizzard 1230/50 Mk IV accelerator with 32Mb onboard. The HDD is partitioned using SFS into three 2GB partitions - System, Apps and Games. There are around 50 games on the HDD with a registered copy of WHDLoad, and loads of space for you to put more on! The machine is running standard Workbench 3.1.

No box as it was in a bad condition and not worth keeping but I kept the main part of the box lid (it's a Magic Pack)

Included is an excellent Zipstick joystick, a good quality Amiga mouse and a Netgear MA401 wifi card - the drivers are installed and working. It works fine as long as encryption is turned off on your router.

Perfect for anyone looking for a nice standard unmolested Amiga but with plenty of power for running games.

Only thing to note is that on the HDD, the screw holes don't line up with the caddy so it's secured firmly in place with black electrical tape, and the PSU is not the heavy type but I have had no problems with it at all.

Looking for £220 or nearest offer and due to value/size I really want collection only.

If wanted I can also include a decent A500 and some data transfer cables for use with Amiga Explorer.

Thanks for your interest. From what I can tell, the exchange rate has soared in the last few days - 220UKP is now $350. Plus a quick quote on shipping is FedEx World Economy @ £65.09 (based on a 10kg weight estimate) which is another $100. Insurance might be extra as well. You would be looking at $450 in your money I think?

If that's incorrect I apologise, not trying to rip you off, but am just trying to think what it would cost you.

I think in all honesty I will now be splitting to sell separately.

I needed to update this thread, the Blizzard accelerator is now sold.

Looking for about £95 for the machine now, that's for everything listed above except the accelerator.

aricz, checked prices on parcel2go and it's hugely expensive to Norway. £50+VAT is the cheapest.
