Usually NTSC ones have the AGNUS soldered on the MegaChip.
You need ONLY Agnus 390544-01 to work correctly. You can desolder but this must be done proffesionally.
As I understand it, in principle, you can certainly change the Agnus for the PAL equivalent, the challenge is making sure you get a pin-compatible one. There are two different pin arrangements of 2MB Agnuses and nobody's quite sure which ones are which, you'd need to check.Quote:

What revision a2000 mother board is it? If it is Rev 6 you are probably better off just doing the 2mb agnus hack - much neater and more reliable.
It's a rev 6.2.

That hack requires the Super Agnus as i recall and sourcing one is not easy.
Someone in the US was selling them not long ago - I was lucky, both my a2ks are Rev 6.4 and both came with the 2mb agnus ready to go. :)
