Hi to all
It's possible to install next ROM's at the Mikronik 3-Way ROM Switcher sockets and works in one A600?
One chip:
- Kickstart 1.2
- Kickstart 1.3
Two chips:
- Kickstart 3.1 from spare A1200
Thanks

I don't think you can use the 3.1's from an A1200 in an A600.

He mate!
Why not use 1.3 and 2.x Rom on the switch and then re-kick into 3.1 rom with the ACA630
You could even make a nice custom rom with the updated SCSI.device and such
Steve.
Hi again
Wel I have next ROM's
Single chip: 1.2, 1.3, 2.05 & 3.1
Two chips: 3.0 (A1200), 3.1 (A1200), 3.0 (A4000)
Reading specs the Mikronik 3-Way ROM switcher:
http://www.bboah.com/index.php?actio...632&artlang=en
I have also this one: http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=947
But my question is..... It's possible to work with 3 different real ROM's in A600?
1.2 & 1.3 to play very old games from the original floppys.... 3.1 to work with CWB Full or ADVSP.....
The ROMs from an A1200 are a matched pair and act as a single unit.
The A600 needs a different ROM chip which has the kickstart version on a single chip. Unfortunately theyre not transferable between the two systems.
Hi,
I have BKick, Relokick FDD..... but I don't know about Rekick...... is a free tool?
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the explanation my friend...
Is not a problem... for very old games (1.2 & 1.3) I think the best is to use the ROM switcher I bought. :)
Best wishes
The question must be asked why a person would want 1.2 and 1.3
Same for 2.0x and 3.1
The thing to do is have 1.3 and 3.1
This will cover all of your needs.

Hi m8.
I don't remember exactly... sorry, lot of years....
In the old times I have one A500 1.2 with FastRAM, etc.... & lot of games.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember about some problems with very old games like Dungeon Master & Aladdin (maybe more) upgrading to 1.3 ROM. This is true?
Thanks & Best wishes
