Amiga 500

I'm looking for an Amiga 500, but I've got some special demands. I want it to be exactly like my very first A500, so what I'm looking for is this:

- Rev. 8 mainboard (technically an A500+ mainboard, but without the clock/battery and only 512 kB ChipRAM)
- Wide Commodore A500 logo (like the A500+)
- US keyboard with 2 blank keys (the ones next to the left shift and Enter keys)
- green power LED/orange floppy LED
- since I'm in Europe it obviously must be a PAL/240V unit

I don't need any extras (original box, mouse, modulator, cables, joysticks etc.), I'm just looking for a non-yellowed base unit and maybe a PSU (depending on weight for shipping), though I can always get a cheap PSU at our local Commodore Users Group meeting..

Just a small addition to my quest: I won't say no to a wide-logo case with a rev. 6a mainboard, or with another keyboard. In the end I want my dream-A500, but I can always assemble it from several parts of course...

Mate just so you're aware - rev 6a is pretty different from 8a - you won't be able to put latest Agnus and 2 MB Chip RAM on rev 6a board so if you want to build yourself a 500 plus, better keep trying to get newer revision. Good luck with your hunting! 500 forever :thumbsup:

I'm not really trying to make an 500+ out of parts, I just want that exact same A500 that I had as a kid (for sentimental reasons, you know what it's like ;)). I'll stick to the 512kB Chip RAM, only to expand it with the standard 512k Fast and an ACA520 when it comes available.

So where I said that I'd settle for a rev. 6a, I meant that I could always swap it for an 8a later on. Wide-logo cases are still more common with a rev. 6a mainboard than with an 8a, that's why...

The only time I've seen a rev 8A is usually on fleabay Germany...

I have a rev 8a working unit...like new inside...

Discovered from a friend, good condition (was UNOPENED before i found it and break Commodore signs for lookin inside...)

Was not working but only because expansion ram has battery leak, removed expansion is ok at all !
But i have to test all keyboard and take it out, i need it for my A500.
Mine is working bad on some keys and i don't have time to open, i prefere to change all keyboard.

If you need "central unit" 8a (may be with no 100% keyboard, i can send mine), tell me...

If the case is clean (and with the wide logo) and the mainboard itself is okay, then I'm definitely interested. Going to send a PM in a minute...

A500 just take out of "garage", no clean at all...
Very good conditions.
Expansion ram was not working, i remove battery but is not detected, may be some circuit broken...
The machine is an AMIGA 500 (NOT Plus) but the mainboard is with A500+ logos !

Has "signs" non broken until today, you have only to remove 20 years dust.
I suppose that this Amiga was used a few or less, also keyboard is as new !
But damn-it has one row of keys not workinggggg !
Time is terrible on A500 keyborads, also not used "broke" staying years and years...

THe only thing i need for my old A500, a 100% keyboard, is difficult to find !
