One more A1200
Hello everyone the other day while I was packing up the A1200 that went to LamboJay, Ed and I found another A1200 in a box. This one is pretty dirty, and I will be cleaning it up. I don't have any pictures of it at the moment, and I will take several of it when I'm done. Ed doesn't have a power supply for it at the store, but says he has one at home he will bring to ship with it. The power supply will be a standard one. We will also source a mouse for it, but I would expect it to be a tank mouse. These are the specifics that I know about it as of this moment. They keys on the keyboard are discolored heavily. It still has the metal shield so I cannot see the motherboard revision. It has 3.0 Kickstart ROMS and a 6 GB 2.5 IDE drive. It also has an 030 accelerator with 16MB of RAM but I haven't seen one like this. The notch of plastic doesn't exist (and from the looks of it never did. It almost looks like a modified VLB connector from old PC based motherboards...) on the accelerator connector, which means that sometimes the card does weird things. I don't see a name on the card so I cannot tell you what brand it is. The machine does work, and I played with it for a while. When I take pictures of it, I will post them, which I hope to do tonight after I clean the case a little.
Ed is asking for 250 USD plus shipping. I am sorry I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I will get some taken after cleaning the beast and I will post them. Point of note, the label on the bottom says PCI - Componentes Da Amazona LTDA - Microcomputador Amiga Modelo 1200. It has a US Keyboard though. So please take a look, and let me post some pictures later tonight. Post in the thread if you are interested. Thank you!

Interest withdrawn.
Was hoping it was a PAL machine, but in fact its NTSC.

I took plenty of pictures. I'm not certain, but I think the machine is NTSC. I cannot see the Crystal to confirm this, but It works with NTSC as the work bench. I guess I could test a PAL game as see if it cuts the screen off. The machine appears to be from Brazil, but the keyboard has been changed. My A600 has the same label on the bottom and it's definitely NTSC. I will check and see what I can find. The A600 in the one picture is a color comparison. It's pretty white, and the A1200 is slightly less so. I counted the keys and 31 keys are yellowed. It's strange that only 31 are yellowed and not the others?

Tested and confirmed. It is NTSC. Sorry.

Adding note. The Accelerator in this thing is a pain in the arse to get to fully function. Sometimes it detects the Fast RAM sometimes it doesn't. What's weird is that it can be working and you can test the RAM and it's fine, then reboot the machine and for some reason the RAM is not there. I talked with Ed and we are switching out the accelerator pictured with the DKB Cobra he has at the office. This accelerator, what ever kind of accelerator it is, is too unstable since it slides around on the CPU connector to be useful in a desktop case. I will get pictures of the Cobra when I go to Ed's next time.

The Amiga was mounted (can not say it was manufactured) in Brazil. What would the shipping costs to repatriate the same? Accepts Paypal? Comes with mouse, power and everything?
-
It does does come with a mouse and it will come with a power supply. I think Brazil can be a little expensive, but I will certainly check for you. I do accept paypal as well. Let me look into how much shipping will be and I will post it back here for you.
-Edit- to 'repatriate' the machine would cost at an estimated 15 lbs of shipping weight to be approximately 73.00 USD. The shipping weight of 15lbs might be a little high so it could be cheaper and any excess shipping would be refunded.

I must take my interest. The wife asked me: ANOTHER COMPUTER? I understood what she meant to say. Sorry for the delay in responding. Thanks.

No problem. I understand completely. The machine is still for sale if anyone is interested.
