Since my small excursion into cleaning up today I decided to set my screwdriver onto my power tower power supply (that is perfectly glittering because of not much use) which ceased to go not too long after I actually got it and it was near new...
I've opened it up and everything is clean inside and nice and sparkling, after careful examination I have concluded that the fuse has blown. A glass tube with metal at each end with a copper coloured wire inside running down the middle which now isn't a solid wire but two ends missing the middle ;)
The question is, if the fuse is blown is this an indication that something more serious has happened? Or can I go get this fuse replaced (cos the cheap buggers didn't put the fuse in a craddle (I've seen them in other powerpacks) and things should be all go again?
Below a very bad photo
