Amiga 600 - Slight Fault - Now Splitting Up...

Hi!

This is my spare (spare) A600 that I'm offering for sale.

Just the machine on its own, it has Kickstart 1.3 Rom. Motherboard is Rev 1.5

The Floppy Drive is working fine, I've loaded up some disks and internally its very clean, even has the top shield in place still :)

The slight fault is with the keyboard, the bottom row of keys don't seem to work, I've not ventured into it any more than making sure it was plugged in properly.

I assume its the membrane that will need to be replaced. Other then that the A600 is working well, sound is nice and clear but I've not tested the IDE in this one, if you want to use a HDD you'll need to upgrade the Rom.

The Case is fairly clean but there are a few marks, mostly round the back Sadly both side clips are broken however the back ones have survived therefore with the screws in place the case is nice and secure.

I've decided to split this up since I don't think anyone is interested due to keyboard being faulty & P&P over the pond is too high for a cheap item.

Good news is all parts are less than 2kg so can ship anywhere at not too much cost :smile:

Motherboard including metal shields & 1.3Rom - £15+ P&P (Sold to You)
Case (as descibed above including trapdoor) £5 + P&P (Sold to You)
Floppy Drive & Cables/Bracket £10 + P&P (Reserved for Cosmicfrog as I know he is looking for one) - SOLD
Keyboard, fault as descibed - £5 + P&P - No Longer For Sale

Best price I can find is DHL and thats £45 (no charge for packing thats postage only!) This is a 4 day service.

Post office is £44.99 for the economy service which is 28 days!

Fedex, etc are much more expensive, upwards of £60

The package is 3.5kg for just the A600.

I will weigh the Motherboard and case without the floppy drive to be sure but if its over 2kg which I think it will be then its still going to cost £45 to USA :(

This is becuase Airmail has a 2kg limit and only other option after this is to send by Courier like DHL/Fedex. Royal mails parcel services to USA are very expensive.
