Indeed, for those who are interested, this board is designed for mounting an A4000D board into a tower conversion kit. Nominally it's for the Micronik aftermarket tower kit, but makes a great busboard for any tower conversion.

Has anyone ever tried putting this board on an A3KD conversion to Tower?
After all. it is a ZORRO III board & an A3KD has ZORRO III slots....
I've never experienced this config & it might have already been discussed elsewhere, but does anyone have any info on this? - Lots has happened since BBoAH was written....

Sadly, the A3000 backplane connector isn't quite the same as the A4000 one. Micronik do however make an equivalent for A3000 tower conversions, for that, you'll need the 6910 busboard. http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/micronik3000 :-)Quote:
