TRA1200 accelerator + FPU

I'm selling one of my spare accelerators. It's a TRA1200 with 28Mhz CPU, 33Mhz FPU and 8MB of Fast RAM.

Technical specifications:
MC68EC020 CPU running at 28Mhz (SysInfo reports 31.60Mhz !).
MC68882FN33A FPU running at 33Mhz.
8MB Fast RAM memory.
Battery backed up clock.

The card is pretty fast; It's much faster than a standard A1200,
and even slightly faster than an A3000!:woot: (See pics).
I'm asking 50 euro + shipping for this nice piece of Amiga hardware! :)

No, it won't be:

It has a 68EC020 CPU, so limited to 24bit addressing, so will conflict with the PCMCIA if 8MB FastRAM is installed.

Still, it's a nice little speed boost for your basic A1200, and should be fine with 4MB Fast and PCMCIA! :-)

I tested it with 3.1 ROMs + WorkBench 3.1 and then it's not PCMCIA-friendly. You can however use a 8MB SIMM, just put a switch on a jumper and then you can switch between 4MB (if you use the PCMCIA-slot),
and 8MB (if the PCMCIA slot is not in use). Don't forget that the system must be turned off while doing this!
But the weird thing is that I also tested it with another A1200 which has
3.0 ROMs + WorkBench 3.1 and then it's PCMCIA-friendly! The system showed the full 8MB while using the PCMCIA slot! Very strange... :wooha:

PCMCIA compatibility is a bit weird, sometimes it'll work, other times it won't. We had a long discourse about it here on the bay once: /showthread.php?t=7578

Have a browse of that and see what you can take home from it :-)
