Another CDTV Keyboard
Hello, Ed and I were looking through his shop about a week ago and we found something surprising. He thought he had 2 CDTV keyboards and I had sold one and he wanted to keep the other. We found a third one! So Ed said it was okay to sell it like the previous one.
Like the other one sold on here, the plastic tab in the connector is strangely missing. But this keyboard actually says CDTV on it. The casing has some strange spots where the case seems lighter like someone tried to clean it, but I am uncertain on that. The pictures below will hopefully help explain what my words fail to convey.
We will ship internationally, but please take into account that the keyboard is approximately 8 pounds without packing materials, so it will more than likely be heavy. Asking price is the same as before $45 USD plus shipping. Thank you for taking a look, and if you have any questions, please let me know and I will endeavor to answer them to my best ability.

Interested. PM sent with question about shipping.

Since CDTV keyboards work only for the CDTV (dunno about CD32 since I never had one) you can mod the CDTV keyboard to work with every Amiga (2000/3000/4000 etc) by only changing the order of 2 wires in the internal header of the keyboard AND cutting the plastic from the PS/2 connector. That, is needed because CDTV's keyboard connector doesn't fit the normal PS/2 ports with it's plastic attached (it's in a lower positition) so most peepz just remove it and keyboard works just fine that way.
I made this hack on my CDTV keyboard when I wanted to use it with an A1200 Mediator setup and worked like a charm.
Just thought of adding this detail since you wondered why the plastic may have gone :)
Good luck with your sale mate!

What is interesting is that I have a hacked CDTV keyboard that has been modified to work with the A4000D, and it has the plastic pin inside. I have tested it and it seems to work fin on my A4000D.
@tk8783 - PM received. I will get you the weight and a shipping estimate.

Just another post about the plastic pin: my keyboard has only ever been used on my CDTV, and the plastic pin ended up getting in the way of plugging it in to the CDTV due to it becoming slightly deformed, so I cut it out...
This is fairly common, it seems :D . GLWTS

Okay, so the line looks like this so far if I'm correct...
1. tk8783
2. netagra
3. Damion
4. CDTV 1991
I must say I'm a little surprised. I did not expect such interest in this keyboard.
