My New Office =D

Ok so apologies as I don't yet have a real photo because I've not had it built yet but I'm very excited so thought to share my plans with my AmiBuddy's :thumbsup:

I'm having an outdoor office built in our Garden, at the end of said Garden we have an ugly shed full of junk, well this is coming down and we'll get a small tool shed nearer the house for Lawn Mover and Gardening tools :cool:

And in its place we're going to have one of these:

This is the one we've chosen, its called 'The Vancouver' but we'll take a slightly bigger version without the side Window. The plan is to have a slightly bigger decked area for our Table & Chairs too :bowdown:

In this office will be my place to escape, no more working on the Dining Room Table :coffee:

I'll have a soldering station setup in here and my A4000 for geeking out :thumbsup:

Well at least this is the plan, hopefully I can post some pics and such when work starts.

Did I mention I'm excited? :D

We went to look at them over the weekend, I just have to check some things as since its replacing the shed I don't think we need any planning permision, but I need to be sure.

Lucky we already have the raised flat area but will get that decked out first.

Really can't wait for work to start, but just need to get a job first before I start spending my money lol!

Maybe some of you know from my post at EAB but I'm leaving my job tomorrow due to redundancy, but they are giving a good package so no need for anyone to feel bad for me since its voluntary.

But I've said to myself it all stays in the bank till I get another job! Oh and no Steve you can't buy everything Amiga :Doh:

Anyway - looking forward to this Summer :thumbsup:

you will have a REAL man cave after all this time! =)

Smart office :) We have one in our garden but I am not allowed to use it for games :( sometimes I can take my laptop in there but the Wifi signal is low!

The hardest part of the construction was putting the roof on - good luck :thumbsup:

We already use the Laptop in that part of the Garden so should be ok for Wifi, Sarah's Dad is pretty handy and an Electrician and would help us, so hopefully shouldn't have too many problems :coffee:

I'm going to setup my beast of an A4000 in there since its got no-where else to live just now :whistle:

As for wireless just do what i did and set up a 2nd router as a repeater to the main router, perfect signal in my Workshop (shed).

Wonderful! I'm dreaming of the same. Extend the garage and use the extra space for a home office and classic/arcade game room. However my better half think that it is a crazy idea. Seeing how I'm no carpenter, she thinks I can't do it. But I'm telling her as an engineer we don't see that as a problem. ;)
