I received C2002 monitor yesterday and making cable for it either today or tomorrow, also today i'm getting RGB Video adapter from Tom.
will be testing:
Real C= monitor with cable, against:::::
RGB to Video Adapter via S-Video LCD TV
RGB to Video Adapter via VGA Adapter > LCD Monitor
(reason why i'm trying to do is to ditch C monitor for LCD)
I keep you guys posted with results and pictures, and tell you which way is cheaper to go as far spending money.

I am very interested in hearing about your results from TomThul's RGB to S-video adapter.
Was going to order one, but waiting on Paypal to stop being stupid and get my funds transferred.
I had one of Amigamaniac's v3 RGB to S-video adapters and it had excellent picture quality. Tom's board looks to use similar components so I would imagine it should have excellent picture quality as well.
I'm pretty sure quality will be good! I spoke with Tom he said if you connect Adapter using Svideo cable to LCD TV quality will be even better than connecting from Adapter >> VGA BOX converter, from VGA box to LCD PC monitor.
looks similar as maniac's - ture, I wanted to go with his adapter but never got a word from him, so i went with Tom's.
Today I will test::: Adapter - LCD TV 19" wide, Philips, pictures and info coming soon.
I have got one from amigamaniac probably not the latest. I never had the chance to test the s-video but composite is like the a1200 composyte for me nothing more nothing less.:whistle: I use it for bigboxes before rtg is installed. It is composyte quality and looks bad on lcd.
I think indivision ecs/aga is expensive but for aga a cost that could be spoken for

The s-vid from the Amigamaniac adapter is very good. I would say 90 to 95% of RGB quality.
Good choice for us North Americans since we can use scart here.
this is the adapter from Tom i tested,
First picture is from 19 wide, TV LCD, connected thru Svideo adapter streight to TV, best quality pic.
Second picture is hooked up to 15" LCD PC Monitor, Using cheap VGA converter, the pic is not so sharp (waiting for better one in mail) Still not so bad! also using Svideo
this was tested on a1200. (tomorrow ill be finishing my cable for my C2002 monitor)
Testing continues.... since i'm tired after work, and almost done with my cable for rgb.
Just curious as to why you have a ferrite clamp on the PSU cable?
I would also test NTSC High Res laced and if you LCD supports it (and many Philips do) I would also test both PAL High Res and PAL high res laced.
Can you test the adapter-->S-Video-->Converter to VGA--->19 inch monitor as well?
