Some say Sandisk, others say Kingston and then there's even more with their own opinion on different brands.
Personally, I use Kingston 4GB CF cards and have never had a problem.
DEFINITELY Sandisk.
EVERY single IDE equipped Amiga of mine is running from Compact flash cards, so I have purchased literally dozens of them.
MOST work.... some dont, some work with problems... but Sandisk ALWAYS works perfectly. I have used Sandisks from 64mb up to 8gb and they have all worked well.
Also, Nathan at AmigaManiac sells some 8gb Compact Flash cards VERY cheap (around $20.00 from memory) which work perfectly and are quite fast.... cannot remember the name of them though.
Hope this helps.
If you are going to use CF cards, I also recommend Sandisk.
They work equally well on the IDE bus as well as PCMCIA via adapter.
You will pay more for them compared to most others, but they are about as much a sure bet as you are going to find.
Well for now I have a Transcend 512mb 80x I got this awhile ago for a
camera I had so i'll give it a shot..

I never had issues with Transcend 133x as well.
Used 4GB versions on my A600s and 16GB version for my A1200's SCSI and always worked like a charm
Sandisk is 100% Amiga compatible. I use both 2GB and a 4GB CF to my A1200.
I have two Kingston Flower cards, which aren't supposed to work well, but I have no problems with them. They aren't fast, but that isn't too much of a big deal. I am planning on buying a Sandisk 30MB/s 8GB card since they just recently dropped to a lower price here at a store. I have heard good things about them, so I figured it was worth a bit of cash.
