Emulators

Anyone point me to what they consider the best spectrum emulator for a 1200, there are a few and i have no idea what is the best one!

any other emus you think are good too :P

It depends on the target system. I love Speccy Emulation on the Amiga as using a proper Joystick on a TV is as near as you'll get to the real thing.

If you have an 030/040 (or accelerated 020) then ZXAM Spectrum runs the best (IMHO) Perfect speed and sound and very high game compaibility on 020@25mhz and above. However it runs too fast on an 060

If you're using an 060 then I suggest ASP as it runs at the correct speed, I found it slightly more compaibile with games than ZXAM however the sound emulation isn't perfect. It does however support AHI and RTG so you can have the sound coming out of your SB128 and Graphics via Voodoo (320x240) on Mediator Systems or similar Zorro setups.

For other Emu's check out AmiMasterGear, it requires AGA and 030 for full speed Master System/Game Gear Emulation, you can use CD32 or other 2+ button Pads/Joysticks with it, even Master System pads if you want the authentic feel!

blizz 030/50 64mb at the mo! So i should give ZXAM a try :) cheers. I'm assuming there isn't a c64 one that my amiga would run well if it can barely run spectrum stuff

Yep ZXAM wll be perfect on your setup as will AmiMasterGear :thumbsup:

There are C64 emulators, but the ones I tried sucked on an 030 - maybe someone here knows a good one? :whistle:

There is a decent NES Emulator 'CoolNes' but its not as nice as SMS Emulation.

Well, I'm sure i shall have a go but mainly it is so my wife can play Fast Food Dizzy with a joystick..she refuses to play the Amiga version because the music is not the same :s

My question is about CD32 software. Anyone knows about a good emulator of CD32 console?

I want's to run CD32 soft in A4K's 060 or A1200 060......

I try with the package included with IDEfix, but no way........
