you can choose which sections you want to view under new posts, or just subscribe to some threads, or go into your usercp and edit your options in there
Do you mean on the forum or on Workbench? In Workbench I am not sure how you would hide folders, unless there is a utility that can rename certain .info files and force a refresh of the window. Should not be too hard to write. In theory it could even be done with a dos script, although it might prove tricky handling exceptions.
Under Workbench, simply delete the icon that corresponds to the folder you wish to hide
in case the OP doesn't know, and 'icon' in workbench terminology is a properties file with the suffix '.info' associated with another file. For example, if you want to delete the 'icon' of the folder 'utils', deleting (or moving) the file 'utils.info' will suffice. if you're using workbench (and not something like Dopus) you'll need to switch to 'text' view to see the .info files.
Lol yes I meant workbench, sorry! I'm so used to 15 years of windows I can't get my head around certain aspects of amiga os
Is this why certain folders only appear under show all files because they don't have a .info file with them to show the icon?
You might also want to consider more descriptive thread titles in future. 'uhm' doesn't really give us many hints as to what you might be asking.
