Some Commodore monitors for Ed
Hello everyone I was talking with Ed the other day and he has decided to start selling all Amiga items he doesn't need. If they don't sell then they will go in the trash as he said. Up in this post is a hand full of Amiga monitors most are 1084 monitors, some are Stereo models most aren't. Some of them have functioning front doors and if you want one with the front cover panel, it's going to have to be first come first serve. There are 13 1084 series monitors, and one strange 2080 monitor. They are all dirty, have some scuffs, and I'm guessing yellowed to some degree. (couldn't tell well the lighting wasn't the best, but that's another story)
Ed is asking $25 for each plus shipping He also has one 1080 which is just labeled Amiga on the front so it probably is an original A1000 Monitor. That's $25 plus shipping as well. He has one 1942 left, and it's the one in the pictures that has the functioning front door, (I bought the one without for myself. I don't need a working front door.) For the 1942 he is asking $50 plus shipping.
As I go through some of the items he has given me to sell I will be posting them in threads. I apologize for the non clarity of the photographs but the lighting wasn't the best. In one of the pictures you will note that the monitors are mostly covered by boxes. I asked him afterward if those have the front doors and he confirmed that they do not.
He says he's pretty sure that they have the monitor cables needed to connect them to Amiga computers, but I did not see any power cables. One of the 1084S models that I could get to had a front door but the latching mechanism is missing so it doesn't stay closed.
There was one that had a front door that I could not get to, so I cannot verify if the front door latches or not. I apologize for not having a lot of information on the monitors, but with my new job I am really short on time. If there is a specific monitor in the pictures that you see that you want point it out and indicate which picture it is and I reserve it for you.
These monitors are all NTSC format, and as such I do not know if they will work with PAL Amiga computers. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer the question, if I cannot I will find out from Ed and then relay the answer forward. Pickup for monitors is welcome if you are in the Kansas City area. International shipping is available as well, but please understand that due to the weight of monitors shipping cost is more than likely prohibitive and there is no guarantee that these NTSC monitors will work with PAL machines. I have attached pictures to showcase the monitors that are available. Thank you for looking and have a good weekend. Also if you post interest in the thread please understand that I have time only to check in the morning before I go to work, so if you post interest and send a PM, I may not be able to respond until the next morning CST.
One last thing. All monitors before payment and shipping will be tested to be functioning for the buyers sake. Again have a wonderful week.
