Hi,
Does anyone have a cheap and cheerful USB flatbed scanner that they can let go?
Would be good if it could work with both Mac OS 10.6 and Windows 7 :thumbsup:
I have some amiga games I would like to scan boxes, disks and manuals for HOL.
Cheers

i have a scanner what version of windows 7 do you use?
It only matters if it is 32 bit or 64 bit as they are different drivers. The different editions dont matter to the driver though.
my scanner does cause if you cant use windows xp mode which is in ultimate and business and enterprise editions cant use my scanner. it has native mode though on mac osx but uses a linux driver via xcode.
That sounds like it doesnt have a native Win7 driver. If you are using it in the XP Mode VM its not really being used directly by the host OS.
I can't access the link by johnim, I run Win 7 64 if that clears things up. :thumbsup:
@BrooksterMax
You need Amibayer status to see that thread :Doh:
I'll reproduce it down here and in the meantime see if I can get you changed to an Amibayer :thumbsup:
In the meantime if you're interested send a PM to xc8Quote:
Hi,
It does not work as printer... I think there is a problem with the paper feeder...
(one small component came out with the paper ... :laugh:) so if someone wants this ,the scanner function works ok...
Including are : Power cable, printer/scanner driver, ABBY Finereader OCR, some (used) inks
Postage is 6.00£ (Paypal, no need to pay fee)
thx
