Hi all,
i think i need an ATX psu for my A4K, can anyone recommend a reasonably priced reliable PSU? i'd like as many molex connectors as possible and of course a good steady supply.
what would you all recommend?

I bought a fairly inexpensive one and it works great. It's been a while though and I'm sure one of the gurus here will give you a much better option than the inexpensive one I use.
Good luck in the search!

The ones that come in the commodore gaming cases are great. 550w with plenty of molex connections. Wonder if you can grab one from someone here who has a case and upgraded there psu's to run bigger GPU's.
They look nice as well as they are covered in the commodore logo.
Here's a post where I asked the same question. :) Might not be of much help, but Zetr0 passed on some good knowledge in the post.
Here's my post about my A4000D ATX Mod. I'll take any chance I get to pimp my posts. :p

hi SkydivinGirl that is a nice mod there i should use the search option more
I think with Amiga's its best to avoid modern PSU's which one would be using on a Gaming Rig and work with good Quality 250-300W units.
Since you have a Towered A4000 you wont need to do the case mod but a similar PSU would be ideal.
Great guide/post there SDG  If at any point I need to replace my A4000's PSU I'll be hitting up your post
Steve.
yep just need a standard atx psu but which one is the question?
good makes/bad makes etc?
I've have a Silverstone PSU in my PC and its been rock solid for the last 5 years and its on 24/7
Possibly a bit industrial for an Amiga, but worth checking out their site
