8372AB 318069-03 (2mb PAL Agnus for A3000T)

As stated, I am looking for a 8372AB 318069-03 (2mb PAL Agnus for A3000T).

Hopefully I will have luck :)

Mate, the Agnus for A3000/3kT is universal. There no such thing as PAL or NTSC for A3000.

Only A500+ and A600 have a tied to PAL or NTSC 2Mb Agnus.

Alas! I think you need an 8372B or 8372AB Agnus for an A3000. I don't know if any 8375s are compatible with the A3000.

Cool, I hoped it would be like the A4000T :) Now I need to locate the jumper, can anyone help me in that regard?

The 318069-16 might be compatible as it's meant to be installed on the A500/A2000 so the pinout wouldn't be partially shifted. But even if it did/could be made to work, little point in that as it's 1 MB chip RAM capable.

@BLTCON0: all 8375 (no exception) will not work in the A3000(T). 8375 2Mb Agnus have shifted pins, so they only are useful in A600/500+ and latest A2000 boards (IIRC, only the 6.3 revision).

I still searching for an affordable 8372AB to test it in one rev6 A500 to validate the 2Mb hack on the A500.

Using the A3000 Agnus on an 8372A A2000 (rev 6) will work, but you must add "manually" the missing A21 trace to the board prior to upgrade the amount of RAM.

This procedure is well described and Nathan (aka Amigamaniac) & Abbraxious (Steven) can tell more about it.

As for the A500 2 MB Chip RAM guide, is this one you're talking about? It mentions a 8372B and not an 8372AB Agnus though :huh: They were both used on A3000s but were they fully interchangeable? There actually was a somewhat logically priced 8372B on ebay recently.
